Cloudwater Tap Takeover // 6th May 2022 // Lendal Pub

We stumbled upon Cloudwater years ago at their launch event in Manchester. From the start there seemed an exciting buzz around the new brewery, although the first beers weren't outstanding we could see great promise and witnessed quick improvements. They had a clean branding and modern style which we were keen to follow. Soon the beers became permanent on our Stonegate taps. Within a few years they had become to talk of the UK brew scene, with people eagerly anticipating the next DIPA launch. Once the DIPA run was finally over the sales took hit. James Campbell parted company and Cloudwaters days seemed questionable. The pandemic seemed to revive their fans and boost sales, the beers were getting better and they were on a role again. The Chubbles range with the Veil being a sales highlight along with the MCI Stouts. Who knows what lies ahead, we eagerly await and continue with them on their journey.

Cloudwater will be on York on Friday 6th May from 6pm at our Lendal venue, we have compiled a great selection for you to try. Come down and meet up!

Come and meet the Neon Raptor brewers - 20th April // 6pm Lendal // 8pm Stonegate

Neon Raptor began life back in the Jurassic Period, a.k.a 2016. As the Cretaceous Period loomed, Josh and Tom, two former posties with a passion for craft beer came aboard, and the journey began! After some cuckoo brewing and a lot of graft, they moved into their home at Sneinton Market, Nottingham in 2018, where the Raptor as it is today was born. Fast forward to today and their team is slowly growing, but one thing that has never changed is how much they love beer, and great beer at that! They create everything from one-off experimental beers to a solid range of our favourite styles. There’s also a fair amount of dinosaurs (naturally) and retro video game references and nostalgia involved. They're often at the Sneinton taproom, various beer festivals, and obviously down the pub, so come and say hi. They will be early door from 6pm at Stonegate then moving onto Stonegate at 8pm on 20th April 2022.
