WC 31/07/23 JESTER KING SLEEPING VILLAGES, PASTORE, BARON, KROMME DE HARING, SOFIA ELECTRIC, TEN MEN & MORE!
Jester King recently released a new batch of Detritivore, this time in cans. They make Detritivore by taking the cherries from Montmorency vs. Balaton and re-fermenting them a second time with fresh beer. While not as intense as its big sibling MvB, Detritivore is still a cherry-forward beer given the sheer volume of fruit used in both re-fermentations.
Jester first brewed Le Petit Prince Farmhouse Table Beer in 2012. They've been brewing it once or twice per year since. Originally inspired by Brasserie Dupont's table beer called Avril. They sought to make a low-alcohol beer that's dry, drinkable, refreshing, crisp, hoppy with a little bit of beguiling yeast character that only wild fermentation with native yeast can create. Le Petit Prince is probably their favorite beer they make. It's certainly the truest to their core philosophy of beer making.
DE KROMME HARING
x DEYA CROCODILE TEARS
De Kromme's collab with Cheltenham-based Deya Brewing Co. is an expression of both their interest in experimental brews. They crafted a british style pale ale with spelt malt as well a dry hop with British Jester and US Azacca hops.
As an ode to that one classic brewer's favourite trappist beer they bottle fermented it with Brettanomyces yeast. Fruity, funky and delicious!
Sofia Electric's latest addition of a super juicy blend of American hops and dry hopped with New Zealand hops.
The beer abounds with rich grapefruit, pineapple, papaya and peach flavors (and that's just on first taste!) and it all rests on a canapé of a full-bodied oat malt base.
Forbidden candy is the new triple IPA in collaboration with their friends from Manchester, Pomona Island. Super refreshingly sweet and hoppy.
I am another new addition to the colorful family of Sofia Electric. Not that I'm bragging, but I'm extremely interesting - I'm made with Tonka Bean and Bourbon Vanilla.
I am a real emperor - strong and well aged, with an extremely dense body of 31°. My taste is rich, in me you can find notes of coffee, baked bread and vanilla.
I am very aromatic and dense. I'm also modest and would drink alone if I could.
This is one of Sofia Electric's main beers and will always be in their assortment. Dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic, full-bodied and hazy golden in color, OVERFLOW NEIPA is the beer they reach for whenever they want a juicy IPA.
This week sees the return of Sleeping Village's Imperial Oat Stout brewed with coffee roasted by their talented friends Kaffa.
This edition utilizes their Dario Hernandez coffee from Guatemala which accents the rich base of English malts in their beer with notes of red berries, hazelnut and cocoa. This unique infusion adds a new level of complexity to this already decadent stout.
A unique twist on their flagship beer first brewed in 2017. This beer was cold fermented with Sleeping Village's favorite saison strain for 4 weeks and then dry hopped with layers of Crystal and Ekuanot hops.
An 8.2% Double IPA. No sharp edges. Baron's softest, fluffiest, fruitiest Double IPA yet. Proper macho stuff this. A hefty mixture of Mosaic and Galaxy at 28g/L. Mango and melon up to your eyeballs.
Burning Sky's benchmark mixed fermentation saison was aged for six months in oak to develop it’s distinctive flavour profile. The beer then spent a further three months on fresh Victoria and Marjorie plums. The sweet, yellow flesh gives a deep richness of flavour, whilst the dark skins lend colour and a balanced tartness to the beer.
Project 23 is their latest collaboration with Westwell Vineyard. A mixed fermentation beer was aged in Cognac barrels for three years before it was added to 200kg of unfermented, foot crushed Pinot Noir grapes. Fermentation of the grapes ran through the beer, producing an intense wine character.
TALUS E POMPELO
The return of one of Pastore's favourite beers they've made. Originally made two years ago with their friends from Suffolk Burnt Mill, lovingly recreated this month for those who missed it the first time or those who just want to drink it all over again.
Talus e Pompelmo is a hazy sour IPA fermented on pink grapefruit juice and dry hopped with Talus.
Sour IPAs are both one of their favourite styles to drink and one of the most innovative styles they brew. You won't find much else that tastes like this on the market. Lactic fermentation + hops = sunshine juice.
The base beer is a hazy IPA with zero bitterness, fermented with their fresh sour mixed culture bringing a lovely zippy acidity, refermented on pink grapefruit juice to bring more freshly squeezed citrus character and finally dry hopped with Talus bringing even more citrus and pith and light notes of coconut and vanilla.
Mmmmm….beer with marshmallows. For the most juicy beer cocktail, Ten Men's brewers combined raspberries, blackcurrants and sweet marshmallows. All this was nicely hopped, deliciously seasoned with coriander, balanced with salt and voila! Delicious beer is ready!
Unfiltered and unpasteurized light beer
The NEIPA novelty, which previously could only be tried by owners of GameBox 2.2. Note the high alcohol content of this beer. This gives it a unique taste.
WE SWEAR, THAT IT'S THE LAST TIME
WHEN WE GIVE THIS NAME TO BEER
Unfiltered and unpasteurized light beer
Ten Men have already brewed this beer in Vovchansk. It was very tasty and became a favorite of many. They decided to repeat this masterpiece.
A classic hopped NEIPA, there is almost no bitterness here. Light, drinkable, delicious...what else do you need for hot evenings?
BERRY BLOOD: RASPBERRY
Semi-dark unfiltered and unpasteurized beer
A distinctive feature of this style is the sweet-sour taste profile, which is created thanks to specially selected yeast, and juicy raspberries add unique fruity freshness, depth and sophistication.
This naturally delicious beer with a bright pink texture holds the balance of bitterness and fruity acidity. The aroma of raspberries is reminiscent of carefree warm evenings, and the hop aftertaste emphasizes the importance of the moment.
Taste BERRY BLOOD: raspberry with creamy desserts, fruit salads and light snacks.
CALM IN PARADISE: GUAVA, MANGO & PASSIONFRUIT
Light unfiltered and unpasteurized beer
A light fruity hoppy saur for hot summer days. Forget about water, soft drinks and juices! This beer is the best thirst quencher this season. It has a moderate sourness and slightly pronounced sweetness, a light aroma of fruits and hops.
It is delicious on its own, but it pairs perfectly with vegetable salads, light dishes and desserts.
TWICE BERRY BLOOD: BLUEBERRY, BLACKBERRY & VANILLA
Semi-dark unfiltered and unpasteurized
Extremely tasty beer with noticeable sourness. The aroma of blueberries, blackberries and vanilla awakens the appetite, the deep berry opaque color creates a real pleasure for the eyes.
BERRY BLOOD: LINGONBERRY & ORANGE
A bold and amazing combination of lingonberry and orange. At the first sip, you will be lost in the wilderness. On the second - juicy red berries will dilute the degree with the sweetness of an orange. And the third - the wind blows to meet freedom, and your ignited taste buds are uncontrollably buzzing and asking for more to kill the smell of the hot summer sun.
A crisp, clean and bracingly bitter India Pale Ale brewed to traditional West Coast standards. We’re getting grapefruit, toffee, briny coastal fog, babbling mountainside brooks and sticky-icky pine sap.
A foggy, juicy-as-they-come pale ale utterly saturated in Motueka hops for flavours of melon, crushed lime and strawberry.
Creak is a blend of two barrels filled in June and August 2021. Fermented with saison yeast, Lachancea, Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces before ageing for just over five months on carbonically macerated British Morello cherries.
An ode to one of Balance's favourite Lambic styles, this beer is intensely fruity with jammy notes of ripe cherries, vanilla and almond. Bright acidity and tannic structure complement the underpinning funky elegance and barrel character leading to a moreish finish.
We think this one will age very well.
What a treat! NOLO maestros Mash Gang in the house bringing wizardry and dark arts to the fore in Verdant's first 0.5% beer! Of course, it's a NEIPA. They haven't reduced their hopping rates so expect pungent saturation and full body, proper Verdant-like.
A little ripper this one! Complex layers of tropical fruit and dank weeds with Golden Promise barley bringing some subtle orange hues and bready vibes. A beautiful collab with White Rabbit Books
BRU-1 and Strata dominate proceedings in this full yet light and slightly crisp pale offering. The sister to 300 Laps that oozes grapefruit, pineapple and a skunky dankness. A little bitter bite and a dry finish remind you it's grown up and make you reach for that glass again...and again...and again.
LET IT ENFOLD
Loaded to the brim with two of the dankest hops Track can get their hands on, Let It Enfold is a heady mix of Strata, Strata CGX & Idaho 7. For those that love their hazy IPAs to have all of the usual bright fruit flavours, all layered in amongst a bit of cannabis funk!
DREAMING OF... DDH RIWAKA
Hops are incredible! The aroma, flavour and other nuances they can bring to a beer are something we'll never get bored of. Take this single-hopped Riwaka DDH IPA for example, definitely not for the faint-hearted with its over-the-top bacon frazzle qualities - Track love seeing people stick their noses in and come up with a confused smile on their faces. Dive in and enjoy!
Track's Reflection series continues, and with this beer, they gaze into the rippling waters of one of their/the industry's biggest influences. That beer is, of course, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. One of the first American beers to be widely available in the UK market, and one that started the journey for huge swathes of breweries in the UK & US (including us). It’s a beer that’s never faded and that they continue to enjoy.
This is their take on that beer and with it, they hope they can pay it some of the respect it’s due. They built a base of sweet grainy malts before hitting it with the classic that is Cascade on both the hot side and cold side. The result is big hits of grapefruit & pine, a firm bitterness and a light biscuity malt character. For us… it’s a dream.
1952 VINCENT BLACK LIGHTNING
Says Red Ryan, to James “well that’s a fine Double IPA.” “My hats off to you, it’s got a double dry hop of Cryo Citra, Vic Secret and Simcoe.”
A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION
An IPA with a dry hop of Cryo Mosaic, Cryo Idaho 7 and Topaz? I didn’t understand a one word you said?

A CASE OF YOU
Old and new meet in this 5% Pale Ale with Chinook providing that classic hop flavour of lemon & lime alongside modern El Dorado presenting its typical juicy flavours. These two hops create a great balance of flavour while maintaining superb drinkability.
PROPER DIPA MOTUEKA
The Proper DIPA series continues, this time it's Motueka. A firm favourite in the brewery so it was time to utilise this hops expansive flavour with Cloudwater's favourite North West yeast from JW Lees. Expect the typical fresh hop aroma with a thick and creamy mouthfeel that hits all the dank & juicy notes you've come to expect.
THE BEST PENGUIN IN THE WORLD
Köln-style lagered ale hopped with the noble German classic, Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Pin-gu bright and clear with a satisfying breadiness and crisp, elegant bitterness. Wak waaak!
SORRY MATE, WORK MODE
A Mosaic heavy IPA. Deep rich aroma of drumstick lolly, guava and red berry, followed by a whiff of fleshy orange. A sticky mid palate leads into some lemon sherbet, grapefruit rind and some squidgy green dank, absolute banger.
ASTRID & SAMI
Classic west coast hops simcoe and chinook combine with vista, for an IPA that brings piney freshness and tropical fruit flavour.
How much fruit can you jam in one beer?
A whole heckin' lot it turns out! Future Sunshine tastes just like it you'd imagine, sweet and sour cheer up juice in a can.
x Powder Monkey LET GO ALL LINES!
This collab blends Strata, Centennial and Chinook to give a dank westie full of tropical flavour.
DETECT AND STRIKE
V2 of Bayonet's collab with Instagrams Crafty Dogg, originally produced to support the beer festival in Ilkley! They've combined Idaho 7 and Sabro to bring a soft and juicy NEIPA that has gone down especially well.
You’re going to love this! They’ve used a huge amount of strawberry and combined that with lemon and lime to give you a mouth puckeringly drinkable sour that’ll bring back the nostalgia without making you sound like the tritagonist we all remember!
EL DORADO ALL FORMATS
Having brewed a Citra All Formats Pale in late 2018 Wylam have returned to showcasing the wonderful El Dorado hop which brings bright tropical fruit flavours and aromas of pineapple, watermelon and ripe stone fruit.
We bring you Track's brand new Dry Hopped Wit, Avenoir. Motueka & Eclipse bring zesty lime and tropical fruit notes, while the Orange Zest adds refreshing brightness with the Coriander seeds providing a subtle spice, complementing the hop character.
WAITING FOR THE DAY
Ok, here we are with a West Coast classic. Set upon the simplest of malt bills Centennial, Simcoe & Citra weave together to bring a range of pine & pithy orange notes, with a lasting and assertive bitterness. Everything we want in a West Coast beer. Bright, crisp & clean.
A few weeks ago Azvex teamed up with Table Chocolate who sourced them some absolutely world-class Dominican cacao.
IN FACT it’s so good that they loaded up their InfusionTank.wad with the maximum amount of cacao that it would hold!
As soon as you open one of these, the smell alone is enough to let you know it means business.
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
We don’t know the answer to that,
but what Azvex dream of are Pale Ales like Electric Sheep...
5.2% of hazy fruity goodness thanks to generous amounts of Citra & Motueka.
CITIZENS ON PATROL
You want to become one with this beer. Feel the beer, caress the beer until it’s a living, breathing, vibrating extension of yourself. It’s a good beer. It’s double dry hopped with Cryo Simcoe and Vic Secret. Drink this beer.
SUCH INTENSE DANCE VIBES
That magic moment when Guava and Pineapple are primed on the pallet and a touch of salt lights the fuse. You got yourself one hell of a cocktail party baby. Have you ever had a Gose with such intense dance vibes?
One of those Pale Ales that disrupts the flavour a little bit. A double dry hop of Enigma, Vic Secret and El Dorado.
x Beak PURRR WELL FRIENDS
Cloudwater teamed up with BEAK Brewery for this collaboration DIPA, inspired by their TIPA, BE WELL, FRIENDS and their hazy NEIPA, PURRR. Bright, fresh, fruity and dank.
By combining the dynamic duo of Citra and Motueka hops, this Table Beer brings you a depth that rivals higher ABV pales. These expressive hops work in tandem to unleash a tropical explosion with a zesty citrus twist that lingers on your taste buds. This beer is all about delivering a refreshing pint that doesn't compromise on flavour.
Perfectly paired with fresh flowers and summer sunshine - should we ever get any!
This fresh, new IPA is a marriage of high quality ingredients and years of us working to perfect our craft.
Using the unbeatable pairing of Citra & Mosaic, Cloudwater have designed a modern, hazy IPA that doesn’t compromise on drinkability.
Showcasing all the reasons they love this style of beer,
there are big juicy flavours of bright citrus, berries and a little dankness with a soft pillowy body and a breezy finish.
Crafted to celebrate The Veil in Richmond, Virginia, who will be hosting their annual Forever Summer Festival on July 22nd.
This DIPA showcases a fresh new recipe that incorporates some of the key hops found in Chubbles. Uber dank and juicy, it stands as a true sibling to its renowned predecessor, delivering an abundance of vibrant tropical flavors reminiscent of succulent oranges and ripe mangoes.
SET IT UP
When using Citra as the foundation for their IPA's, they look to feature hops alongside it that will elevate flavour and mesh nicely with Citra's punchy tropical notes. Strata provides that with overripe tropical fruit, and hint of Talus softens to create a supremely drinkable, flavourful IPA.
Cloudwater's return to the Berliner Weisse style is accompanied by a plethora of Citrus fruits including Japanese kabosu and Shiranui orange. They’ve added four different types alongside a small addition of Passionfruit. Combined together creating a super refreshing slightly tart experience. A perfect summertime sipper.
GOSSIP IN THE GRAIN
For the heights of summer they’ve paired the tropical juice of Idaho 7 with the pineapple punch of their hand selected Simcoe. With a hint of Talus for a creamy body balancing the bold flavours, this is a crushable summer pale ale.
All Citra New England style IPA with heaps of citrus and tropical fruit flavours. The Citra Cryo hops add a touch of intensity and complexity, while the Citra T90 hops provide a soft bitterness that balances the sweetness of the malts. edit.
Vault City is turning 5 this month, and what’s a birthday without cake?! To celebrate 5 years of sour beer, they’ve brewed something extra-special - a style that put the brewery on the map.
999G/L APRICOT RASPBERRY BIRTHDAY CAKE
This showcases the essence of what Vault City do: a delicately sour mixed fermentation beer with a ridiculous fruiting rate of 999 grams per litre, the legal limit of what they can use while still calling it a beer. This intense smoothie sour is the 5th of its kind from Vault City. It’s thick, juicy, and totally unforgettable.
A piece of Vault City history, this is a mighty explosion of flavours against glittering, star-studded skies. Imagine all the mouth-watering flavours of juicy strawberries and cream from their original Skies series dialled up to 10.5%, now in a clear bottle showcasing the addition of sparkling gold glitter.
RASPBERRY BLUEBERRY BUBBLEGUM BOTTLES
A new sweetshop sensation was needed for Vault City's latest indie collaboration, so they recruited The Hop Shop, Craft Bar, and The Hanging Bat to lend a hand. Nostalgia comes in waves, alongside sweet-sour aromas and flavours of raspberry, blueberry, bubblegum and zingy sherbet. If that isn’t enough to get your taste buds tingling, they’ve turned this modern sour beer electric blue to resemble your favourite bubblegum sweets.
EVEN CLOUDIER DDH LEMONADE
Imagine a blissful sip that transports you to a warm summer’s day, an ultra-refreshing sour beer to quench your thirst in the scorching sun. That’s exactly what Vault City's collaboration with Polly’s delivers. In honour of their 5th birthday, they've taken the incredible taste of their original DDH Cloudy Lemonade and cranked it up a notch. Lemon juice and zest pair perfectly with their mixed fermentation base beer, while Citra, Motueka, Nelson Sauvin and Amarillo amplify the strong citrus and tropical fruit character in this hazy dry-hopped sour.
MAPLE VANILLA CHOC CHIP SCOOP
Not for the faint of heart - that’s what Adroit Theory say, which makes their pals across the pond the perfect partner for their latest imperial stout. Infused with deep chocolate flavours from cacao nibs and chocolate malt, with a velvety smooth mouthfeel from lactose and creamy vanilla. Lashings of maple syrup round out every scoop and sip of our decadent dessert stout.
Summer Street pours a decidedly beautiful light orange and delivers juicy grapefruit zest, candied lemon and a hint of spicy pine on the finish. Trillium's modern-leaning fruitier selection of Simcoe offers the full range of what we love about IPAs. Whether you've been drinking Summer Street since they first brewed it in 2014 or still need to give it a go, we're pretty sure you'll agree this will be the perfect summertime beer!
Dot Ave offers an aroma with layers of depth and nuance. Immediately apparent is the tropical shade of the New Zealand-grown Nelson Sauvin variety, with notes of mango and pineapple jumping from the glass. Vibrant and punchy flavors of sticky mango, concord grape, and candied citrus coat the palate with a balanced, soft finish.
A fine-tuned take on the classic citrus-meets-tropical Trillium profile, they kept an eye toward new possibilities with Strata, while retaining the core elements of what works best in Citra. Think tangelo, mango nectar, fuzzy peach, and fresh-peeled clementine.
DDH FORT POINT
DDH Fort Point pale ale unleashes explosive Citra derived notes of juicy pineapple, candied orange, and ripe mango.
DDH RIWAKA FORT POINT
Riwaka Dry Hopped Fort Point offers a vibrant bouquet of fresh fruit. Tropical fruit, pithy grapefruit, and orange lead the way with a subtle dank edge that rounds out the sip with a gentle bitterness. Medium-bodied and refreshingly drinkable.
CITRA CUTTING TILES
Citra's signature lychee and orange zest notes rest wonderfully atop a floral and earthy backbone contributed by Merrimac Valley Raw Wildflower Honey.
A New England Double IPA brewed with 2 row, wheat and a ton of malted oats, hopped with Mosaic, BRU-1, and Cashmere. This beer is pillowy soft and reeks of tropical fruit, and has quickly become a favorite of the production team. Huge notes of pineapple, key lime, mango and a hint of coconut.
Uncanny Valley is Burlington's flagship New England style IPA, hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops. Flavors and aromas of Ripe Mango, Pine Needles, Tangerine Zest, Watermelon Sorbet, and Ripe Peaches. SEA OF AIR
Soft as a fluffy cloud. Packed with hand selected Citra hops, Sea of Air is a Double IPA that checks every box of what a Hazy Double IPA should be.
July is a time for Summer Puddings & what better way to consume them than in the form of a Pastore beer. GOOSEBERRY MOON based on a Gooseberry Fool with flavours of gooseberry, cream & custard. Brewed with local malted barley, raw white wheat and dense fluffy oats, with additions of coriander, curacao orange peel and aged hops in the kettle. Holy Goat's take on the Belgian style witbier was fermented with their mixed house culture and aged for around six months. During this period, the beer developed complex Brettanomyces characteristics along with a light refreshing acidity.
LEAN IN is an 8.5% DIPA with Citra & Idaho 7 hops and grapefruit brewed in collaboration with Gamma's friends at Polly's brew.

GENERAL DOG'S BODY
Swapping styles to the other side of the USA for this brew with a West Coast IPA. Clear, crisp, resinous, bitter, and beautifully hoppy from Ekuanot and Simcoe. Like when you used to take a jar of marmalade into a pine forest for a snack.
Baron's latest addition to the family. A 3.6% session Pale packed tightly with Motueka and Citra hops. It's got a lot going on for its weight. A full bodied Vienna and Cara-gold malt bill with oats and wheat, a brazen bitterness and a spritzy citrus aroma.

A joyful balance between classic and new world hops!
At only 4% this sessionable beer will surprise you with just how much flavour it has.
Layers of Citra & El Dorado give this beer a huge melon note that makes it so, so easy to drink.
Next up is Combat Juggling, a 5.2% Pale Ale and MORE melon!
This time with an additional sharp citrus edge.
Hopped with Simcoe, Citra and Strata.

Garage dropped the ball on this one: a few weeks ago they messed up & dropped twice the amount of hops than the usual SANTAKO rates, giving it 23g/L of dry-hopping (usual DIPA rates). Fortunately for you folk, some mistakes come with beautiful results and SANTAKOOO is a true banger in every sense of the word : same base, same abv, DOUBLE the amount of Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe. Juicy, dank, delicious. and yep it's still gluten-free...
Recently Garage had the pleasure of hosting the amazing team behind the hops at Yakima Chief for a brewery lunch here in Sant Andreu, then a few more cold ones down at Poblenou. They took the opportunity to brew ACE DORADO with them.... a tribute to Xavi from YCH, it's a killer juicy IPA & their first time with HBC586 Cryo. They also whacked a load Nelson Sauvin and their selected batch of Citra from hop selection into the mix. Booming notes of mango, guava and lychee and undertones of gooseberry, stone fruit and white wine.
Garage has the honour of brewing its beers in one of the most picturesque cities by the breathtakingly magnificent Mediterranean Sea and these next three releases are devoted to protecting and preserving it!
Three Blue Carbon Beers, which are committed to restoring biodiversity along the Mediterranean shore, notably in Palamós, located approximately 100 kilometres from Barcelona. With each purchase, they will donate 20 cents from each Blau Project sold to Seareg for their fantastic work along the beaches. Would you like to be part of the Mediterranean Sea recovery mission together with them?
Macroalgae forests such as cystoseira are crucial for an unaccountable amount of marine species habitat and unfortunately, they are in a danger and need our attention. A West Coast IPA with big notes of pithy grapefruit and lemon zest, lots of fresh-cut grass, slight sweet pear and none of the cream-like character that a lot of Simcoe has these days.
This beer is named after seahorses endemic to the Mediterranean Sea. Pour the pint of Hippocampus and be part of the restoration of their habitat & preservation! Plus the beer is just a straight-up banger, loaded up to the gills with Citra, Azacca and Cryo Idaho 7 this is bright and tangy.
Garage's latest DIPA supporting the Mediterranean regeneration project Blau. Porifera is another name for a sponge which populates the seabed, and this DIPA is like a hop sponge that has absorbed all the beauty of Mosaic T90, Galaxy T90, Mosaic Spectrum and Galaxy Spectrum.
NEW THIS WEEK

Keep it light, keep on floating. Pressure Drop have used the palest malt in this West Coast style pale ale to really let this crisp and delicious hop shine.
Pressure Drop added loads of fresh American hops to give this hazy pale ale a zippy tropical flavour. Why did they put a bunch of Aussie animals on the can then? They just think they're neat.

NEIPA double dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic as well as Motueka and Nelson.

PLAN A PRETTY PICNIC
A new DDH pale ale brewed in collaboration with Rivington.
Sureshot had a fun idea to only use hops either trademarked or developed in 2000 (AD) in this beer. While the sister collab brew up at Rivvy's - 'I Brought Snacks' - uses only the newest lupulins.
