July is a time for Summer Puddings & what better way to consume them than in the form of a Pastore beer. GOOSEBERRY MOON based on a Gooseberry Fool with flavours of gooseberry, cream & custard. LEAVE THE GUN is a Lemon Cannoli inspired style bursting with tangy lemon & rich vanilla, and to finish what better than a trifle, ZUPPA INGLESE is conditioned on raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants & vanilla for that oh so English of summer desserts.
Arpus have got together with two cracking USA breweries to bring you two incredible new beers. A delicious IPA brewed with BARRIER pumped up with a triple dry hop of Nelson, Mosaic & Riawaka, and with the Kings of DIPAs FINBACK of course a mega TDH DIPA with Citra, Enigma & Azacca, then finally we're receiving a classic clean fruit sour to wrap things up CHERRY x RED CURRANT x APRICOT.
COMPANION is the one you look for. Brewed by the coming together of like minded friends, Wildflower, this is a sparkling ale inspired by an Australian classic. Crisp, clean and refreshing with Moteuka hops for tropical fruit notes.
HEROES ARE COMPLICATED but beer doesn’t need to be. A lovely West Coast Pale Ale with Maris Otter and Munich Malt, loaded to the hilt with Chinook and Citra hops. Brewed by some complex people from Verdant and Burning Sky.
Brewed with local malted barley, raw white wheat and dense fluffy oats, with additions of coriander, curacao orange peel and aged hops in the kettle. Holy Goat's take on the Belgian style witbier was fermented with their mixed house culture and aged for around six months. During this period, the beer developed complex Brettanomyces characteristics along with a light refreshing acidity.
LEAN IN is an 8.5% DIPA with Citra & Idaho 7 hops and grapefruit brewed in collaboration with Gamma's friends at Polly's brew.
Gamma also had their pals at Willibald stop by and keeping with the theme of last time they got together, they made another big 10% Triple IPA, YOU SURE ‘BOUT THAT? , hopped generously with Citra, Columbus and Sabro.
GENERAL DOG'S BODY
Swapping styles to the other side of the USA for this brew with a West Coast IPA. Clear, crisp, resinous, bitter, and beautifully hoppy from Ekuanot and Simcoe. Like when you used to take a jar of marmalade into a pine forest for a snack.
Baron's latest addition to the family. A 3.6% session Pale packed tightly with Motueka and Citra hops. It's got a lot going on for its weight. A full bodied Vienna and Cara-gold malt bill with oats and wheat, a brazen bitterness and a spritzy citrus aroma.
LEFT HANDED GIANT
A light and fragrant pale ale base, delicately dry hopped and blended with LHG's Sicilian lemonade. Expect a sweet, juicy dose of lemon, mellow bitterness and a thirst-quenching hit of zest to finish. A summer smasher perfect for the park, pub or patio.
BREWPUB CITRA & CASCADE
LHG's latest gluten free pale ale is a zesty little number, combining the delights of Citra & Cascade hops. The aroma pushes bright grapefruit zest and tropical fruit to the forefront, along with candied jelly sweets, before more freshly squeezed citrus fruit is brought to the palette. A joyful balance between classic and new world hops!
At only 4% this sessionable beer will surprise you with just how much flavour it has.
Layers of Citra & El Dorado give this beer a huge melon note that makes it so, so easy to drink.
Next up is Combat Juggling, a 5.2% Pale Ale and MORE melon!
This time with an additional sharp citrus edge.
Hopped with Simcoe, Citra and Strata.
I DON'T WANT TO BE A COWBOY
Yes.. you look like a Pineapple Wit with Pineapple Weed and a touch of coriander. Brewed in collaboration with Neon Raptor and pairs well with a can of I DON’T WANT TO BE A PIRATE.
BECOME THE TEAPOT
Now you put Cryo Simcoe, Magnum, Crystal, Chinook & Columbus in a West Coast IPA with a little spicy Rye in the grist.... it becomes the West Coast IPA. Brewed in collaboration with Indie Rabble.
CREATURE FROM THE NEON LAGOON
When an Unseen Creature from Florida meets a Neon Raptor from Nottingham, big things happen. This super sub tropical Double NEIPA has flavours and aromas of peach, passion fruit, lime and coconut. This DIPA is thick and juicy like a swamp made of fruit.
Starting with our very best friend, I WISH I COULD FLY, Hopped with Citra BBC, Nelson Sauvin & Mosaic Cryo. He's a creamy, grassy, pineappley, smoothy, melony, hazy DDH IPA. Hear what I'm saying Orville?
Next, THE POWER OF THE SUN - in the palm of your hand. Sureshot's collab with Azvex is experimentally dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin hop kief and Citra BBC in a Sureshot first. Bringing all the sweetness and flavour of the hop preparation, it's tasting sinister Mr. Parker.
Choose TIERS not tears! This India Pale ale is layered with the juiciest, dankest Strata, Strata Cryo, Citra and Motueka hops Beak could lay their hands on for flavours reminiscent of tangerine, sherbet dippers and squishy ripe mango.
AM I BEING BASIC
Idaho 7 provides a piney and earthy aroma while Mosaic and Simcoe hops give tropical fruitiness and a touch of dank. With just the right balance of malt sweetness and an alcohol content of 6.8%, Am I Being Basic is the ideal bev for your next BBQ or solo Netflix binge session.
Garage dropped the ball on this one: a few weeks ago they messed up & dropped twice the amount of hops than the usual SANTAKO rates, giving it 23g/L of dry-hopping (usual DIPA rates). Fortunately for you folk, some mistakes come with beautiful results and SANTAKOOO is a true banger in every sense of the word : same base, same abv, DOUBLE the amount of Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe. Juicy, dank, delicious. and yep it's still gluten-free...
Recently Garage had the pleasure of hosting the amazing team behind the hops at Yakima Chief for a brewery lunch here in Sant Andreu, then a few more cold ones down at Poblenou. They took the opportunity to brew ACE DORADO with them.... a tribute to Xavi from YCH, it's a killer juicy IPA & their first time with HBC586 Cryo. They also whacked a load Nelson Sauvin and their selected batch of Citra from hop selection into the mix. Booming notes of mango, guava and lychee and undertones of gooseberry, stone fruit and white wine.
Garage has the honour of brewing its beers in one of the most picturesque cities by the breathtakingly magnificent Mediterranean Sea and these next three releases are devoted to protecting and preserving it!
Three Blue Carbon Beers, which are committed to restoring biodiversity along the Mediterranean shore, notably in Palamós, located approximately 100 kilometres from Barcelona. With each purchase, they will donate 20 cents from each Blau Project sold to Seareg for their fantastic work along the beaches. Would you like to be part of the Mediterranean Sea recovery mission together with them?
Macroalgae forests such as cystoseira are crucial for an unaccountable amount of marine species habitat and unfortunately, they are in a danger and need our attention. A West Coast IPA with big notes of pithy grapefruit and lemon zest, lots of fresh-cut grass, slight sweet pear and none of the cream-like character that a lot of Simcoe has these days.
This beer is named after seahorses endemic to the Mediterranean Sea. Pour the pint of Hippocampus and be part of the restoration of their habitat & preservation! Plus the beer is just a straight-up banger, loaded up to the gills with Citra, Azacca and Cryo Idaho 7 this is bright and tangy.
Garage's latest DIPA supporting the Mediterranean regeneration project Blau. Porifera is another name for a sponge which populates the seabed, and this DIPA is like a hop sponge that has absorbed all the beauty of Mosaic T90, Galaxy T90, Mosaic Spectrum and Galaxy Spectrum.
We'll try to update everyone with anything that's exciting or new. Give us some feedback!
