Pomona Island, an award winning craft brewery based in Salford, have entertained us with some of the best and most appropriate beer names we've seen to date. Bringing back that warm nostalgic feeling with each reference they come out with, whether it's an old quote from a movie or an album/song title long forgotten.

There Wolf is a well hopped DIPA, Loaded with Cryo Citra, Vic Secret, Zappa, & Enigma hops.

"Werewolf? There. What? There wolf, There castle."

The name comes from a line (part of a skit) in the 1974 film, Young Frankenstein. Directed by Mel Brooks, this film tells the story of an American grandson of the infamous scientist, struggling to prove that his grandfather was not as insane as people believe. 

Eat The Rude is an IPA hopped with Cryo Mosaic, Azacca and Idaho 7. 

​It would almost be criminal to not name one of their beers after a Hannibal Lecter quote. After all the famous fictional cannibal has had 5 movies and an entire series based on his life and dietary preferences.

Boppers, Stay Tuned. The latest double dry hopped pale news off the street Boppers. Hopped with Citra Cryo, Sabro and Mosaic, brewed at a crushable 4.7% Abv.

Another fantastic reference to a modern classic film, The Warriors. This 1979 film, directed by Walter Hill, tells the story of a charismatic leader who summons the street gangs of New York City in a bid to take it over. When he is killed, The Warriors are  blamed and now must fight their way home while every other gang is hunting them down.
